The people in the South Tyrol and in the Kronplatz Holiday Region in Pustertal valley - Dolomites in particular are just as well known for organizing spectacular events as they are for celebrating them. And they take every opportunity to do so.

“Almabtrieb” (return of the cattle from the alpine pastures) in Terenten

Return of the cattle from the alpine pastures - „s' Terner Schmelzpfandl"

The festival begins at the music pavilion at 10 am. From 11 am there will be live music, at about 1.30 pm the cattle will be driven through the village. In the evening there will be the “Sennerball” (ball of the Alpine herders and dairymen).
A generous choice of dishes and local specialities accompanied by music and folk events with popular dance make this event a unique experience for those who take part.
