15 years of Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike
On 12 July 2009, the internationally renowned mountainbike marathon in the heart of the Dolomites is back and in its 15th round, expecting participants from 30 different countries.
The South Tyrolean Dolomiti Superbike race is probably one of the most popular MTB marathons in the world, as registration numbers suggest.
On a clockwise-orientated course, bikers may as usual choose between two routes of different lengths: 115.5 km on the longer route (3,658 m of difference in altitude) or 60.5 km (1,785 m of difference in altitude). Participants can decide which route to ride during the course of the race: in other words, up to the last minute. The race starts at 07.30 am.
We are looking forward to welcoming athletes from all over the world. The international character of the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike event has made the Dolomites and South Tyrol world famous among bikers. We have had participants from Belgium to Mexico and even Australia - distance is no obstacle for our athletes!
