A paradise for children and families
We love children! Within the region of South Tyrol most kids below the age of 15 can be found in Bruneck, whether they are our own or whether they are guests: We love them and they will have lots of fun! We send our kids into nature without game-boys and computers in order to scramble around and play and to meet friends who have stories to tell. We also like to include parents because we believe in family power. Romp together!
Splashing water desired!
You can swim at the amusement swimming pool in Bruneck (close to downtown), at the outdoor swimming pool Panorama in Welsberg, in the heated outdoor pool in Olang, at the indoor pool Cron4 in Reischach and at the Lido beach “Spiaggetta Ciamaur”. Yes, exactly! Venice is not the only place with a Lido. About 1.5 km away from St. Vigil the riverbank of the flood plain Ciamaur has been newly constructed and planted; a playground, benches and tables and a real sand beach have been added. The bathing hamlet in Issing/Pfalzen has also been remade.
Dirt no problem!
Get on your horse! On the „Sitting Bull Ranch“ in Campill there are sample courses for the small ones, adventurous cross-country rides and exciting carriage rides. Ponies, a small petting zoo, and a barbecue area await you at the horse farm Grasspeinten in Pfalzen. And the riding stable in Welsberg has the right horse for you.
Cheese addiction no problem!
The clever cheese pro Sepp lives on a small farm, the Waldsamerhof, in the Gsieser valley. Experience how to make remarkably tasty cheese!
For information please contact Sepp Huber at the Waldsamerhof, tel. 0039 0474 948009.
To have second thoughts thats alright!
It has become a
classic: With the help of the
Alpine school small alpinists learn effortlessly how to use
rope,
hooks and
karabiner. They fly on
witches’ brooms, build a
ropeway over the stream as if they were in the
jungle and no other Himalaya-expedition could make better bridges. Markus Neumair and his team teach you to have reverence for
mountains and to understand that it can be rather brave to have a second thought or even to say “no”.
Every Wednesday on the
Schwarzbachalm hut in the
Ahrntal valley,
mid June to
mid September; book at the tourist office in
Kiens,
Pfalzen and
Terenten.
