Welcome to Ski Resort Klausberg

 04/12/2015 -

You can find smooth easy lines, a lot of rails
and boxes and kickers in different sizes that
allow beginners, intermediates and experts
alike to get their adrenaline pumping.

Skiarena Klausberg

The skiing and hiking area Klausberg offers a lot of variety, both in winter and in summer. In summer the most important things you can do is hiking and mountain biking, but there are some other great attractions such as a high ropes course and a summer toboggan run.
In winter, the ski mountain with its thirty kilometers of ski runs with the certainty of snow is ideal for beginners and professional skiers, no matter whether it is with friends, the family, on the snowboard or atop carving skis. The ski school with its 40 instructors offers special courses for the little ones. Then in Klausiland, they can really frolic around, and also show off what they just learned. With the Klausbergflitzer, the longest “Alpine roller coaster” in all of Italy, parents can really get moving along with their children on the long descent. Even a T-Rex and his buddies make an appearance at Dino-Land!

Nighttime sledding, the Klausberg Ice Games that are held every year, the daily stop in a warm, wood-paneled inn that serves authentic Alpine cuisine – those are a few activities that the grownups may best enjoy by themselves. The younger generation diligently practice at the Funtaklaus Snowpark with its many boxes, rails, and kickers of every degree of difficulty. After a perfect day of skiing, the live music at the Alpine cabins gets everyone properly warmed up again. And the après-ski is of course a part of the whole experience, too! Incidentally, the Hexenkessel Pub did not just get its name by chance (the Witch’s Cauldron). For the most ambitious party animals, the Klausberg Ski Arena offers the “White Carpet”, a freshly groomed ski slope even in the afternoon! That way, even those who like to sleep late can still wedel their way through the fleecy soft, undisturbed snow. For perfect all-around service, then, all that is needed is ski rental and a well-functioning shuttle service. And they’re both here! The Klausberg Ski Area passes every test with flying colors.

The coaster hurtles down for 1,800 metres, travelling at speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour – you determine how fast yourself: push the lever forward and to give gas and pull the lever back to brake. The Klausberg Flitzer, known for its jumps and 360-degree spins, is something that you and your family will never forget.

Alpine Tavern at Klausberg

Whether it’s summer or winter, Kristallalm at Klausberg is your consummate Alpine tavern in South Tyrol. Kristallalm offers stylish aperitifs in its K Lounge, fine dining in its traditional Stuben parlours, après ski Tyrolean style, top-class events, and fun and relaxation for the whole family.
