The panorama hiking trail on the Kronplatz summit can be reached by cable car leaving from Reischach/Bruneck (also with children’s pushchair) and it is accessible in about 40 minutes walking time.

The Kronplatz is a hiking region suitable for everyone: You „are hovering“ in a modern cable car up to the summit to reach the unique plateau. Hikers, nature lovers and families (also with prams) can have a look at the peace bell “Concordia” and the mountain relief on the viewing platform and then walk on the panorama trail to enjoy the incomparable view. For those who wish to do more exercise there are several signposted trails to walk up and down the Kronplatz Mountain.

The Concordia is about 3.1 m high. It is an elegant and filigree construction. In a way, the mountain Kronplatz has got its own crown. The slender bell tower with its delicate peak was constructed on an 11 m wide panorama platform. Inside the tower there is the mighty and over 18 tonne heavy Concordia bell. It was designed by the artist Paul de Doss - Moroder from Gröden and made by the bell foundry Oberascher in Salzburg (Austria). Its position is just as extraordinary as its purpose. „Donet deus populis pacem“. This inscription means “God gives peace to the people” which is also the message of the peace bell Concordia.
The Concordia is already a sight for its exposed position. Via the natural stone fundament you reach the viewing platform with its panorama relief which displays the surrounding mountains. It is an ideal place to experience the wonderful mountain landscape between the Zillertaler Alps and the Dolomites and its peace on an altitude of 2,275 m. It is a place to enjoy and meditate.
