Splashing water

You can swim at the amusement swimming pool in Brunico-Bruneck (close to downtown), at the outdoor swimming pool Panorama in Monguelfo-Welsberg, in the heated outdoor pool in Valdaora-Olang, at the indoor pool Cron4 in Riscone-Reischach and at the Lido beach “Spiaggetta Ciamaur”. Yes, exactly! Venice is not the only place with a Lido. About 1.5 km away from San Vigilio-St. Vigil the riverbank of the flood plain Ciamaur has been newly constructed and planted; a playground, benches and tables and a real sand beach have been added. The bathing hamlet in Falzes/Issengo-Pfalzen/Issing has also been remade.

Cycling trips

Bicycle tours for all ages and for the whole family: grab your bikes and hop on the train across the Pustertal Valley all the way to San Candido-Innichen. From there, ride back to your starting point on the convenient and well-developed cycling track which runs smoothly along the valley, passing through many picturesque villages and hamlets. Stop for a well-deserved break or picnic at one of the many beautiful spots on the way and get to know the landscapes and people of the Pustertal Valley from a fascinating new perspective.

A real hands-on museum

A visit to the South Tyrol Museum of Folk Traditions in Teodone-Dietenheim near Brunico-Bruneck is a real adventure for the whole family: Grandma and grandad will remember the days of their childhood, parents will discover folk art treasures and fascinating items of every-day life in rural households, and kids can play with the many goats, sheep, donkey and cows in the garden.

The museum can easily and conveniently be reached on foot and with children's push chairs. Its gardens are ideal for relaxed strolls, and there are plenty of tables and benches which offer a perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a fun picnic with the whole family.

Teepee village

Try living a day like a Native American: in harmony with nature. Kikeriki, the new teepee village at Kronplatz (on 2,275 m), offers lots of fun, games and adventures for kids. With three traditional tents arranged around an outdoor fireplace, it is the perfect place to experience what it would have been like to live in a Native American village some 200 years ago. And there's more: a petting zoo with sheep, goats and donkeys! A hands-on experience and fascinating way to get to know these adorable local animals. This unusual playground on 2275 m above sea level is sure to make your children's hearts beat faster.
