Messner Mountain Museum, dedicated entirely to the subject of mountain peoples.

The
castle has always guarded over the entrance to the Val Casies-Gsieser Tal valley. It was first documented in 1126 and was the main administration castle of Welsperg for about 800 years until 1907. It is open for
visitors in summer.

A place full of atmosphere, a castle tavern on a knoll - that’s Neuhaus, more charming than defying but the home of great minds:
Oswald von Wolkenstein used to spend some years of his unsettled life here during the beginning of the 15th century and the well-known American poet
Ezra Pound used it as a hideaway for himself and his family during the Second World War.
