Many products are still made in a traditional and natural way and sold at small local farmers' markets. Since the 3th generation in 1912, the distillery of pine oil and herb garden Bergila is we producing essential oils in a traditional and manual way. The feedstock is taken by surrounding areas, to maintain the grazing land, and then it will be distilled gently in the traditional distillery. In the herb garden are cultivated 70 different types of herbs by strict biological organic instructions. These herbs were reaped and dried at the right time, and will be packaged for tea. Or it will be made oil extracts, tinctures and other herb products. Not quantity, but quality has priority. The activity with the herbs should be interesting, and give the customers only 100% pure essential oil.

A fascinating variety of medicinal and seasoning herbs are grown at the Hauserhof mountain farm in Montevila-Wielenberg near Perca-Percha. Many of these herbs are used to make essential oils, herbal teas, liquors, cosmetic products and syrups directly at the farm. Other treats include an instructive path through the garden where the herbs and spices are grown, a children's playground and a petting zoo.

At the Agarterhof farm, herbs and spices are grown in a protected, organic garden and later harvested and dried on-site. The plants are used to make different kinds of herbal teas and cosmetic products and sold in a small shop at the farm.

The Waldsamerhof farm in S. Maddalena, a hamlet located in the Val Casies, is the smallest cheese dairy in South Tyrol, where visitors can experience the ancient tradition of cheese-making. The delicious dairy products can also be tried and bought at the farm.
