It has become a cult event – the Gsieser Almhüttenfest (Gsies mountain hut festival). On 16 September 2007 we will celebrate Holy Mass on the mountain at 11 am and then walk uphill to the various alp huts, where you will be spoilt for gastronomic choice. Polenta with goulash, traditional Pressknödel (cheese dumplings), Speckknödel (bacon dumplings) with cabbage salad, smoked salted pork and sauerkraut, traditional deep-fried sweets such as Niggilan and Krapflan.… heavenly delicious!
