On Kronplatz Downhill Day,
downhill and
freeride bikers get the exclusive chance to test a specially marked trail: the
"Herrensteig", an easy to mid-grade single trail of about
8 km on which bikers must master a difference in altitude of about
1300 m. The track leads mainly through woods. Steeper and more difficult passages may be avoided by taking the forestry road. The trail ends at the
"Herrnegg" car park, from which a short tarmac road leads back to the
Reischach cable car valley station. There will be signs along the trail specially for the event. All participants are kindly asked to respect the woods and nature.
At the valley station of the Reischach cable car, there will be a specialised fair organised by the local Tourist Board and the Kronplatz Seilbahn AG, where fans can
check out and buy bikes and biking products. Each of the participating exhibitors has already confirmed that they will make bikes available for test rides.
But there will be even more than just a specialist fair: The day will be packed with parties, live music and culinary treats - be sure not to miss it!
