at Valle Anterselva
The Vedrette di Ries-Rieserferner chain awaits many very beautiful mountain peaks. Some of them are rather tricky and require good mountain climbing knowledge. Sometimes glacier fields have to be crossed and exposed ridges have to be climbed. But in the Valle Anterselva-Antholzertal, there are yet other opportunities to view the valley from above. Many summit hikes that are not so hard or, at the most, are of medium difficulty are at least as rewarding as climbing a glacier. But selecting the correct mountain climbing equipment is important in any case. It is also crucial to always pay attention to the weather conditions.
