Skiing in the Valle Anterselva

The character of the Valle Anterselva-Antholzertal in the winter is also reflected by the seasonal sports activities that are available here between Rasun di Sotto-Niederrasen and Anterselva di Sopra-Antholz Obertal. Completely natural, completely tranquil, the Riepen ski run gently and idyllically extends over the moderately steep slopes between the conifers whose dark tops are crowned by a hood of snow. So in the Valle Anterselva, it is possible to do more than just go hiking in snowshoes or hiking boots, or to just go cross country skiing or sledding – you can also go downhill skiing and snowboarding. The Riepen ski run belongs to the Ski Resort Kronplatz and can be traveled by Kronplatz- or Dolomiti Superski ski pass.

Anyone who thinks that small can’t be comfortable is way off base. Right at the foot of the tow lift is a ski rental shop which, however, offers far more equipment than the name 'Huski Sports Rental Riepen' may imply: they can provide the complete outfitting for everything from Alpine skiing to cross country skiing and from snowshoeing to sledding.

A small snow park for freestylers and slope acrobats, a kids park for little snow bunnies, and a fun mogul run make the Riepen slope a winter fun park that is suitable for the whole family. There is also a ski school located here. With the ideal equipment and  enough practice on the curves, skiers will be fully ready for the “big runs” of the Kronplatz area. After all, the ski area of the same name is located just around the corner.
