South Tyrol Jazzfestival
The South Tyrol Jazz Festival 2021 takes place and with its programmatic core roams the geographical catchment area of the Danube. In this intercultural space, which stretches from Germany to countries such as Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and Romania to Ukraine, the festival explores a young scene that does not let itself drift, but – confidently experimenting – swims upstream. With its national focus, the festival continues its exploratory journeys through Europe. In recent years, bands from Great Britain, Italy, France, Austria, the Nordic countries and the Benelux countries as well as from Spain and Portugal presented themselves in South Tyrol. Thus, the festival positioned itself as a colourful showcase for innovative and stylistic unbounded music.
