in Campo Tures
In the Valli di Tures and Aurina-Tauferer Ahrntal, it seems like winter feels right at home. Evidence of this is the thick cover of snow every year. And winter sports enthusiasts also fall under the spell of the valley. After all, the two spacious ski area Speikboden and Klausberg are located here, with their endless miles of ski slopes and top facilities, from the new, quick and efficient ski lifts for heading up the mountain to the excellently groomed ski runs for heading back down into the valley. And in between? Flow with the snow, sun and fun. A good many steep challenges require strength in the knees, and several long sections demand good conditioning.
It’s a good thing that in Riva di Tures-Rein in Taufers, there are possibilities to learn, practice, and warm up at the mini ski area. There is something original about skiing and snowboarding here; from time to time, whole families are seen together enjoying their first attempts at skiing with each other. Skiing lessons are also offered here for small and big skiers alike. And equipment can also be rented for those who don’t have their own. As soon as the first curves feel secure and the desire for a little more variety and a panorama of the high mountains begins to grow, then it’s a good thing that the Speikboden ski area is waiting for newcomers right behind Tures-Taufers Castle.
