at Val Casies-Monguelfo-Tesido
The Val Casies Valley has exceptionally many beautiful alpine pastures; most of them offer refreshment opportunities. The Val Casies Valley Almweg 2000 path, as its name suggests, runs at an elevation of 2,000 metres- as is signposted. The pathway offers an expressive view of the entire Val Casies Valley.
Of the many different route possibilities, we recommend a hike that offers the best views and shows the stunning alpine flora, namely from the malga Tscharnietalm in the south to the malga Uwaldalm in the north. This particularly rewarding hike is a round trip that can be walked in either direction and is easy for the regular hiker.
We recommend, however, to only do a part of the route.
