Directions
a) Starting from the parish church in S.Maddalena/Val Casies (1398m), walk along the forest road through the Köfler Tal valley uphill following trail marker No. 47. Upon reaching the crossroads, turn right and follow the forest road with trail marker No. 48 through the forest to the Tscharnietalm (1976m, no refreshments available). Still following trail marker No. 48 to the next junction, turn left and follow trail marker No. 48 to the Kalkstein Jöchl (2349m). From this point on, walk on the Bonner Höhenweg (lane No. 12) that leads eastward and leads across steep slopes southward to Pfanntörl (2511m). From this point either follow trail No. 25 to the Bonner Hütte (2340m, refreshment and overnight stay possible) or choose the descent directly from the Corno Fana di Dobbiaco.

b) Trail No. 44 leads from the S.Martino/Val Casies tourist office through the Verselltal valley to the Randlhütte hut (1862m, refreshment possibility), the Tolder Alm (1942m, refreshment possibility) to the Gruberlenke (2487m). Then to the Gaishörndl (2615m) to the Pfanntörl. Here trail No. 25 starts, leading to the Bonner Hut (2340, possibility of refreshments and overnight stay).

c) Drive from Dobbiaco to the Gandelle farmhouse through the San Silvestro Valley (1595m). The farmhouse is near the Seiter restaurant and parking is available. Walking on a narrow road, past the small Gandelle church, the Bergrast restaurant and the Hofer farm and following the trail marker No. 25 through the Golfental you will reach the Bonner Hut (2340m, refreshment and overnight stay possible).

How to get there
Coming from Innsbruck/Brennero (A): Drive on the Highway of Brennero (A22) until the exit Bressanone/Val Pusteria, then go on along the SS49-E66 for about 58kms until you arrive in Monguelfo. To get to Tesido and the Val Casies Valley, we recommend to take the exit West in Monguelfo.
Coming from Lienz (A): You can reach us also padding by Lienz in Westtyrol (A). You have to cross the Austrian-Italian border between Ahrnbach and Winnebach (B100-E66) and drive on the SS46-E66 until Monguelfo. To get to Tesido and the Val Casies, we recommend to take the exit West in Monguelfo.
