As a racing cyclist you can no longer miss this classic.
On the 29th and 30th of May 2019, the Giro d'Italia was held in Antholz and Olang, the 17th stage had its finish line in the South Tyrol Arena and the 18th stage started in Olang. Our Giro Tour starts in Mitterolang and leads along the panoramic cycle path to Niederolang - Neunhäusern - cycle path to Anterselva - road to South Tyrol Arena/Antholz Lake. For racing cyclists it’s also possible via the normal road

If you post a foto from the start and the finish, you get a buff Giro d’Italia in the office of the Tourism Association Antholzertal and Olang.
On the trail of the Giro d'Italia, you can enjoy the ride along the cycle path through Olang and the Antholz Valley. The last ascent to the biathlon Centre gives you a real Giro d’Italia feeling.
Start in Mitterolang, from there follow the cycle path towards Oberolang. There, turn to the Panorama cycle path and ride towards Gassl. Shortly before reaching Gassl, cross the road and cycle to Niederolang. Drive through the village and over the bridge of the Rienz river, then turn right to Neunhäusern. Below the historic “Rasner Brück” bridge turn left towards Rasen. Follow the signs of the cycle path along the Antholz stream to Antholz Niedertal. Afterwards continue in the direction of Antholz Mittertal until you reach Camping Antholz, where you follow the road to the Biathlon Centre for the last few kilometres.
On the tracks of the Giro d'Italia, you can climb the two famous mountain passes, Furkelpass and Staller Sattel.
Start in Mitterolang and then take the panoramic cycle path to Gassl, from there follow the road towards Furkelpass. Then back to Olang, through the village and cross the Pustertaler Straße and follow the road to the Staller Sattel.
