In the Valle Anterselva-Antholzertal, there are very beautiful old edifices that are worth a visit. The old walls tell tales of days of yore.

Heufler Manor in Rasun di Sopra-Oberrasen
This residence of nobility that was built in 1580 is now a hotel with an attached restaurant. The architecture of the splendid building is very precious and well worth seeing. Especially lovely is the Hearnstube [the Parlor of Lords] with some of the most beautiful Renaissance wood paneling in all of South Tyrol-Südtirol.

Rasun Vecchia-Altrasen Castle Ruins in Rasun di Sotto-Niederrasen
Around the year 1200, Rasun Vecchia Castle was already the ancestral seat and seat of the legal court of the lords of Rasun-Rasen. Today, the structures that have been preserved include the rectangular tower, sections of the walls with bossage, the castle courtyard surrounded by curtain walls, and the residential floors with different shaped windows and embrasures.

Rasun Nuova-Neurasen Castle Ruins in Rasun di Sopra-Oberrasen
The Rasun Nuova Castle located on the west side of Rasun di Sopra was built, as well as the ruins of Rasun Vecchia Caslte, around 1200 by the Lords of Rasen. The castle walls of this facility have been fully restored and are therefore fully intact today.
