Although Kronplatz is one of the most popular ski resorts in South Tyrol, there is still plenty to see and do away from the slopes.
Leave the stress of everyday life behind and enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. At the summit visitors will find the Concordia 2000 peace bell, a symbol of peace on Earth and a must-see attraction.
A further highlight is the MMM Corones (Messner Mountain Museum) designed by legendary Everest mountaineer Reinhold Messner. An extensive collection of photographs and original objects gives visitors a fascinating insight into the world of mountaineering.
After all that action, why not take a break at one of the 40 huts and bars in the Kronplatz area? Visitors can sample a selection of local delicacies in traditional wooden chalets, trendy bars and on glorious sun terraces.
Families in particular are spoilt for choice. Highlights for youngsters include the Safety Park, children's restaurant and many different courses in winter. During the summer months they can explore the Red Indian Village and the trampoline area.
