The KIDS ON SKI initiative offers children aged 3 to 5 a free introduction to winter sports. The aim is to get 50,000 children excited about skiing within three years. The program includes five half-day ski lessons, rental equipment, lift tickets, and accommodation for the child. It is supported by ski schools, mountain railways, tourism associations, and sponsors throughout the Alpine region and the German low mountain ranges. Participation is limited to 200 children per region, so early registration is recommended.
