At Kronplatz, the new Kronplatz 1+2 lift takes the skiing experience to a whole new level. The modern 10-person gondola by Leitner combines noticeably greater comfort with high performance: up to 3,250 passengers per hour are transported more efficiently thanks to a 10% increase in speed. A special innovation is the transport of skis directly inside the cabin, ensuring greater comfort and a significantly more pleasant ride.
With the relocation of the mid-station, a new and attractively designed ski run is also being created, expanding the offering and improving the distribution of guests across the mountain. At the same time, the installation makes a strong statement in terms of sustainability, with energy consumption expected to be reduced by around 20%. This is complemented by state-of-the-art safety standards with continuous monitoring.
The renewed Ruis lift brings another upgrade in comfort and efficiency to the ski area. The new 8-seater gondola by Doppelmayr impresses with state-of-the-art technology and high performance: up to 3,600 passengers per hour are transported even faster up the mountain thanks to a 15% increase in speed.
Here too, the transport of skis directly inside the cabin ensures a particularly comfortable riding experience. Greater comfort and optimized operations go hand in hand with the highest safety standards, supported by enhanced monitoring through modern camera and computer systems.
With the reconstruction of the Dolomiti lift, the mountain experience is being further refined with a clear focus on comfort. With a transport capacity of 3,000 passengers per hour, the lift ensures smooth and continuous movement throughout the ski area.
As a chairlift, the new installation offers a particular added value: the open-air ride allows for direct enjoyment of the surrounding alpine landscape, while ensuring quick and efficient boarding and disembarking. Additional comfort is provided by heated seats and backrests, as well as a conveyor loading system with a lifting platform for easier access. The installation is further complemented by state-of-the-art safety monitoring.
The ski area is also being further modernized and significantly expanded: the red Lumen piste will be extended and will now lead all the way to the new mid-station of the Kronplatz 1+2 lift. Over a distance of around 1.1 km, a newly designed descent is being created, equipped with a powerful snowmaking system featuring 22 snow cannons, ensuring optimal conditions throughout the entire season.
This upgrade is complemented by the new blue Weiden ski route, which connects the old mid-station with the extended Lumen piste. Stretching approximately 650 meters and equipped with a modern snowmaking system featuring 10 hydrants, it provides a smooth and comfortable connection within the ski area.
The new Dolomiti piste represents an attractive expansion of the ski area, further enhancing and complementing the existing network of slopes.
This approximately 1.5-kilometre-long blue run starts above the upper station of the Alpenlift and then follows a line beneath the new Dolomiti chairlift. The slope is particularly well suited for beginners as well as leisure-oriented skiers looking for a relaxed and enjoyable descent.
